About Rebekah

Rebekah Kaufman is a scientific illustrator and wildlife artist based in Los Angeles.

Her love for wildlife started on weekend mornings watching nature and wildlife shows with her family and weekly beach trips where she loved watching pelicans bobbing on the waves, spotting seals and dolphins, and finding crabs hiding in the sand.

Her love for nature led her to pursue a BS in Biology at UCLA where she dedicated her free time to refining her illustration skills.

She has worked in medical/science illustration and graphic design roles, but her interests continue to sway her towards ecology and conservation. Her work aims to engage audiences of all ages and inspire awe and appreciation for wildlife and the world.
